Hekireki
"Hekireki" is the sound of thunder, and also the opening theme to the 2nd season of Hajime no Ippo. Describes the sound of boxing (In animated form anyway) pretty well I'd say.
With this season, I'll be following Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger and Maria-sama ga Miteru season 4. Man, can't believe Ippo actually got a 2nd season :D The best sports and fight series on TV continues! Some choice snaps from the opening:
